OUR WORK

Rural Development Support Agency (RDSA) works in the most vulnerable contexts, operating in emergency situations and contributes towards the prevention of livelihood deterioration, improvement in livelihood support systems and living standards of minority groups, pastoralists, agro- pastoralists’ and other vulnerable groups.

RDSA acquired Knowledge and experience on different livelihood zones, agro-ecological conditions and farming systems; particularly active in: Middle & Lower Shabele Bay, Hiraan and Lower Juba Regions. Strong experience has been acquired in work with village Response committees, negotiating with different groups and working in a conflict prone environment. The integration between Food security as agriculture, water and sanitation has increased the potential impact of projects, developing a broader view of livelihood dynamics of the project areas. A great number of reports and technical documents produced by RDSA constitute the basis for any new proposed intervention.
